Hello VDLI Families!
It was great seeing everyone at the Back School Night at RCP and RHMS! We can’t believe the Autumn season is upon us! Students have been in school for a little over a month now, and a lot has happened!
We had another amazing Mid-Autumn Moon Festival and Ice Cream Social this year with the amazing partnership with RCP PTO. We would like to say thank you to all the RCP and RHMS families for coming out to celebrate, and a big thank you to all the volunteers for making the event possible!
We also had the opportunity to partner with The White Lotus Foundation to sponsor a larger community event called the Portland Mid-Autumn Moon Festival that occurred at CorePDX in Southeast Portland on Saturday September 10th. This event had over 2,000 people who attended. HPH has been actively participating in being present in our Portland community, to raise awareness of the Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion Program to families who did not know this program existed for their children.

VDLI Family Engagement Series: How do I support my child’s learning?
HPH will be co-hosting a series of family information nights during the school year. Our first meeting will be on Friday, October 21, at RCP just before the After Dark event.
